Land of Nod has great kids stuff. I hover over each page of their catalog wondering how awesome it would be to just buy one of everything. For a while I have been feeling the need to update my son’s bedroom. He is four and the poor guy still has baby hand prints on his wall. I debated buying honeycomb wall shelves, but where is the fun in that? Besides, two units would cost 120 smackers. No thank you, I like the sound of $16 much better! Here is an after shot:
A friend suggested I do a video tutorial instead of a picture one. I felt a kinda dumb, but whatever…. the coolest part was showing off my state of the art wood shop (a cement slab on our side yard) and pretending like I was on a cooking show with all the ingredients totally ready. Only instead of chopping onions, I chopped wood– which really is way more fun. Anywho, check back tomorrow for a tutorial video all about making the honeycomb shelves.
