I love Halloween. Talk about a holiday that means not-much-of-anything, yet is so fun! Almost every other holiday I bombard my kids with history lessons, what the symbols really mean, and remember the true spirit of…. well, Halloween? I can’t really find anything noteworthy about it, it’s all about the candy and the costumes! I see great decorations, here are two I love I see everyday during carpool… The first is the best, there is electrical looking wire to it and I can’t see it in all her creepy glory on Halloween:

A week ago my son refused to get out of the car (so not like him) I tried to reason until he finally muttered, “mommy… look, somebody died.”

My gym went all out including the bloody baby look (who does that?)

My bff thinks I am really unfestive sometimes. I’m certainly not Pinterest perfect when it comes to Halloween. This year I gave the kids the Halloween box and told them to have fun. I ended up with 30 plastic skeletons taped all over the house and sweet decor like this:

And it’s been like that for a month. I don’t even explain or excuse anything when people come over and I try not wonder if they think I’m a dollar store crazed mom that can hang anything straight. Hey, it’s a holiday for kids and I am fine with it. Whatever your Halloween flavor is, I hope it’s a great week for you!
