Summer is over and I’m baaaaaaaaack! Summer is my favorite season and I’m already feeling forlorn, but the silver lining is the kiddos are happily in school and I have lots and lots of projects to share, like this wood board accent wall. I finished the boys bedroom, phase 2 of 3 in the yard including the trampoline pit, worked on the built-ins and so much more. I’m not sure quite where to begin, so I’m posting the most recent, an accent wall in my bedroom. Here is the before:

As a mom I never get solid days to work on stuff, it’s just projects split over the course of days or weeks (or months, let’s be honest) So I’m not sure if this project is as really long as the summer days made it seem. Luckily, as always, I had lots of help:
The post was long though. So, I split it into two separate posts. This one with the before after and some of the middle and one I’ll post Monday that has all the devilish details for the wood accent wall.
