Yesterday was a great day. I spent a long time in the Sherwin-Williams paint store. That place is eye candy. I even scored one of these babies:

I had a paint fan once upon a glorious time, but I loaned it out and never got it back. Last night I woke up with something hard and uncomfortable under my back. Yep, it was the paint fan. I slept with it. It was at that moment somewhere around 2 am that I realized how much I truly adore paint.

I do have a lot of paint projects planned this year, but one I am tackling next week when the weather is in the 60′s (sorry if you’re still wallowing in cold! we pay for it in the summer) is painting these eye sore garage doors:

yep, I bought one of those homes that is almost all garage from the front. If you call this style “garage-mahal” you’re not alone. The paint is builders grade and super boring. It is also faded in places and needs some serious help. Good thing I love to paint!
