We have lived in this home for 22 months and this side yard has been burning my eyes since day one. Viewer discretion advised:
When a mattress box spring sat on the side of the house for a couple months we affectionately named this space the white trash side yard. It earned it. It needs major help. Since our town is really heating up, today is 87 degrees, it is now or never (okay, not never, but maybe November) to get outdoor stuff done. I recently updated our front yard curb appeal and finished a square foot garden. On the list of stuff to do is build a fire-pit, plant trees, lay sprinkler lines, buy rocks, and cleaning. Here is my ultra professional and scientific plan:
This morning I borrowed my dad’s truck (thanks dad you’re the best) and we headed to the nursery to gather up supplies, good thing I had so much help:
This weekend is going to be epic, in our white-trash-side-yard-kind-of way. Stay tuned!
