Easy Dollar Store Project
I leave this weekend for a sister’s trip (there are eight of us) and I am so excited. Right now the debate is what video we are going to watch first on the road trip. We have it narrowed down to three: Clueless, Mean Girls, or Girls Just Want to Have Fun. All American classics. My bff hubby will be holding down the fort during my quick trip. I don’t know who will have the bigger adventure!
I know I don’t need to tell you again how much I love the dollar store, but I am going to anyways. I love the dollar store. As a followup to my Dollar Store Buying Guide, this is a quick, easy project that is totally worth $2. This week one of my sisters showed me her project (update! she saw it on Decor Chick) and a friend loaned me some party supplies also incorporating it! Fun! I had to post it.
From the dollar store you need: candlestick, vase/plate/bowl/cup. You will also need gorilla glue and spray paint if you want to (also looks great with no spray paint!) The pictures tell the story:
I will post some better pics soon using these dollar store projects.
Try making varying heights and sizes to set out finger food at a party, add a candle, or fill with holiday items. For two dollars you will be loving it.
Have a great weekend and Happy Creating!
